Welcome to the official home of Amulek Audio!

Amulek Audio’s serialized audiobook of “The Book of Mormon” was born out of a simple desire to tell its complete, unabridged saga in a way that was engaging, compelling, and reverent. The primary goal of this production is to increase listener comprehension of the book as a whole: of its stories, its doctrines, and of the theological arguments of its writers.

It is the hope of Amulek Audio to complete this project in October 2026.

    About the Production

“The Book of Mormon: An Unabridged Narration” is a free audiobook that will be released in podcast-style episodes, with each episode covering one full week of Come, Follow Me study. The entire book will be narrated with dramatic interpretation, meaning that the narration and dialogue will feature a degree of emotion and emphasis, as interpreted by the narrator.

Each episode will also feature a brief segment to update the listener on the basic story thus far, not unlike a “Previously On” segment seen in a long-form TV program.

This ongoing narration is performed and edited by Taylor Seth Hall. Taylor is a believing member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Please note that his dramatic interpretation does not necessarily represent the Church or its members. Learn more about Taylor here.

In this production, the content of “The Book of Mormon” will be performed in its entirety without any simplification, rearrangement, or modern abridgement. However, the rhythm and pauses of the performance may not always reflect the book’s modern versification or punctuation. For example, the narrator might treat multiple verses as a single sentence, or he might place an intentional pause in the middle of the verse.

Production of this audiobook will continue with or without funding. However, funding will help us achieve our goal to release the final episodes by the end of October 2026.

    Why Support?

Creating any audiobook is often a lengthy and tedious process. This is particularly true of ancient scripture told with characterized voices.

It was the initial intention of Taylor Seth Hall and Amulek Audio to create and release this audiobook without any financial support or recompense. We take seriously the charge to have “no other object in view … but to glorify God, and [that we] must not be influenced by any other motive than that of building his kingdom.” (Joseph Smith)

However, we recognize clearly that the Lord is hastening His work, and we also recognize that Joseph Smith himself required temporal support to enable the speedy translation of “The Book of Mormon.” Examples include being housed by his father-in-law, Isaac Hale, and receiving financial support from Martin Harris.

We have prayerfully decided to accept donations for this production. You can donate by sending a VENMO payment directly to Taylor Seth Hall. Please be aware that these donations are non-refundable.

Production of this audiobook will continue with or without funding. However, funding will help us achieve our goal to release the final episodes by the end of October 2026.

    Why $9,000?

The final audiobook is expected to run over 27 hours. $9,000 would be the total cost of hiring an audiobook producer who charges $325-$350 per finished hour.

Believe it or not, this is a relatively inexpensive estimate. It is expected (and normal) for an audiobook of this complexity to take 8-10+ hours of production per one hour of content. Recurring costs for quality editing software are also included in these estimates.
